University of Aberdeen College of Physical Sciences[edit]

This no longer exists, and hasn't for several years now. The University of Aberdeen abolished its college structure in its 2017 restructuring. (I would love to provide a reference for this but it is famously impossible to prove a negative; however a simple search of the university's website will confirm there are no structural colleges. King's College, Marischal College and AFG College are locations, not structural colleges.)

The article doesn't provide any references anyway, and I don't believe a defunct organisational unit within a university is notable. Newbiepedian (talk · C · X! · L) 16:09, 11 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Comment Reorganizations of this sort might be worth describing at University of Aberdeen, either under "History" or "Organisation and administration". Delete This clearly isn't a notable enough topic it's own to warrant a separate article from the one on University of Aberdeen. Normally I'd agree that a merge would be a better option then just deleting the content, but there's already enough un-referenced material in the University of Aberdeen article as it is and I'm not keen on adding more. That said, if someone can come up with a few references then they could just as easily write a little thing about in the University of Aberdeen instead of adding it this article and then us merging it later when the AfD closes. --Adamant1 (talk) 15:42, 12 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Delete - I would agree with the above view that this is not notable enough to have its own article and can be covered by University of Aberdeen. As to whether a redirect is needed, I am not necessarily opposed, but I am not convinced that there is a strong need for one, as I think anybody looking for information would head to the University of Aberdeen article in any case.
