Wilkins family[edit]

Trust me, the "Wilkins family" is far more than a handful of footballers. Each of the actual players have their own article. If the family is so notable, it should be moved "Wilkins football dynasty" or something, and not so generic as "Wilkins family". We do, after all, have a couple of dozen articles or more on different Wilkins. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 12:55, 28 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One problem with Wilkins and Family in titles is that was the name of the UK's first ever 'reality TV' family - from Reading IIRC - shown back in 1974. I somehow to recall that latter lot were in the Encyclopaedia Brittanica - at least in the late 70s - but I'm 5 mins away from flying out the door to go to work so I'll try to sort that one out when I come back. I'm surprised there isn't an article on them already (ah well, recentism is as old as you are..or something). Plutonium27 (talk) 08:03, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"Merge and delete" isn't possible for GFDL reasons. The closest alternative is merge and redirect. Oldelpaso (talk) 13:51, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, thanks for the heads up, I've changed my point. Cheers, GiantSnowman 13:52, 30 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
