Discussion[edit]

Code is available at User:AnomieBOT/source/tasks/WikiProjectTagger.pm. Subcategories are not processed. User, MediaWiki, Help, and Category namespace pages will not be tagged. The code first looks for an existing ((physics)) banner to add the task force parameter to; failing that, it looks for a ((WPB)) or ((WPBS)) to add the new banner to; and failing that, it puts the banner after any other WikiProject banners and Talk header templates at the top of the talk page.
