No, because in this case the category isn't in the template, but it's added through a template parameter. The bot will replace this parameter in the pages of the category. For example to implement the Category:NES game covers to Category:Nintendo Entertainment System game covers rename it will replace the "NES" parameter in ((Non-free video game cover)) with "Nintendo Entertainment System". I don't think that's a good idea for a template, which can have 10 parameters for video game consoles, and this parameter could be in anyone of them. Also this is a rather general BRFA, and using switch would be not feasible in all cases. Armbrust The Homunculus 13:36, 13 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Sometimes maybe, but certainly not always. Making template, like ((Image requested)), more complex just for the renaming of a category is overkill. Also IMO if @BrownHairedGirl: implements his her idea, than it should cover every video game consoles should be considered in the subtemplate, and this not just this case.
