Function overview: From @Chris the speller::

There are about a thousand articles that contain the parameter

Ship sail plan = Full rigged ship

but should be

 Ship sail plan = Full-rigged ship

according to well-known dictionaries and common understanding of compound modifiers. About a hundred or so are unlinked, and it wouldn't hurt to link them while we're at it. There may or may not be spaces on either side of the equals sign.

Can you advertise this request to relevant content pages? eg possibly Wikipedia:WikiProject Ships may be relevant. ProcrastinatingReader (talk) 23:57, 28 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@ProcrastinatingReader:  Done - see Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Ships#Notification of bot request. GoingBatty (talk) 00:55, 29 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Approved for trial (30 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. Thanks GoingBatty. I’ll give this a bit longer for comments due to the holiday season, but I don’t think this is an overly broad issue so happy to see this go for a technical trial in the meantime. 30 edits - 10 of each regex please. Trial complete. @ProcrastinatingReader: The bot only made 23 edits, as there were only 3 edits of the second regex listed above. Thank you for your consideration. GoingBatty (talk) 01:20, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
