Operator: Wronkiew (talk)

Automatic or Manually Assisted: Automatic

Programming Language(s): PHP using Dusty Library

Function Overview: Archive requests for rollback and requests for account creator

Edit period(s): Daily

Already has a bot flag (Y/N): Y

Function Details: This will be taking over some functions of SoxBot X (talk · contribs), which has been shut down by its operator. DustyBot will build a list of requests which have been closed for a while. It will then move the requests to the archives (approved and denied). If it hits an edit conflict, it will get a new copy of the page and apply its changes again. My plan is to continue the current practice of only keeping the ((Usercheck-short)) for each user, deleting the rest of the discussion. Also, DustyBot will not notify users of denied requests. The length of time before closed requests are archived will be configurable via a template parameter.

Discussion[edit]

Seems straightforward, Approved for trial (25 edits). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. BTW, why does your bot love OCD in children caused by strep infections? Anomie 17:54, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oops. I'll fix the link :-). DustyBot will be making at most 6 edits per day archiving these pages, so this test run should be finished in about a week. Wronkiew (talk) 21:43, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, just make it Approved for trial (7 days). Please provide a link to the relevant contributions and/or diffs when the trial is complete. so you don't have to stop in the middle of a day. Anomie 22:06, 5 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Trial complete. Bot task disabled. Wronkiew (talk) 06:58, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

 Approved. Anomie 21:00, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]
