Jjjsixsix (talk · contribs) Hey. Just wondering how I've been doing in my six months here... don't worry if you haven't seen me around. Mostly, I work on creating a mass of (high) school articles (it's amazing how an hour can go into making a stub sometimes) and participate in RfA when an editor I know comes up or an article pertaining somehow to what I do comes up.

• It looks like you're doing a good job on your chosen project, even though high schools don't regularly get a lot of attention. (Except for Hutchinson Central Technical High School, which seems to have attracted a vandal claiming that the school is fake. Actually, come to think of it, a lot of high school articles attract vandals.) I don't know how hard it is to get information for high schools other than on their official web sites or from local knowledge -- I don't think there are a lot of printed directories for high schools. You could always check with state WikiProjects for more information and collaboration opportunities, if it would help. --Elkman 20:34, 23 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

1. Of your articles or contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?

   Answer I must say the one very best thing I've done is to save the Dominion High School article from sure deletion from copyvio and libel. I can't take credit for most of the stuff now on the page, but that was very nice. Results of the 2006 World Baseball Classic was a fun article to work on as well.

2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

   Answer Uh, yeah, but not really. Once I nominated some websites for deletion which were created by User:Striver. That ended up, well, not so good. They ended up speedy keep. There was also this, which was a result of a vandalism spree by User:219.77.144.51, which really wan't a conflict. That, though, was particularily annoying because there was basically no time to manually revert and warn and report to AIV, but luckily, Nlu caught it as well. If moral support ever becomes a big enough problem, I will be part of it. There are also the comments that anons give on your talk page (I live by a nothing comes off talk page rule) after reverts, and those responces can get quite... iffy. Basically, with these minor things, try to reason it out, point out discrepancies in opinion, and maintain civility, and don't attack. Major conflicts... well, we really haven't hit any of those yet, but I'll try my best to do the same, and wikibreaks probably would help.
