Comment For something like this I think the image page needs all the sources that was used to make the image, they need to be accurate and correct, it hasn't got that, the weird zoom in on the area in the front is just awkward and weird, and the image size is tiny for something we'd normally accept for a FP gif image I think... don't think it has a chance, tbh. — raeky t 04:08, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The slides used in the animation are based on this page: Territorial evolution of Poland and it is small because Wikipedia banned large animated gifs like the original one [1]. In the original the zoom has been changed. -- Esemono (talk) 06:21, 7 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clearly I've used other historical wikipedia maps that are provided in the article or in the event source articles. The accuracy of the slides are of course dependent on these source maps. Comment Why is there a slide for the German invasion of the USSR in 1941 (which appears to have not led to any direct changes to the Polish borders - or the lack thereof at this time, tragically) but not a slide for the Polish invasion of the USSR in 1920?
