• The image is based on File:Nanjing China.png whose history shows that the original uploader did not give any information on the license nor the uploader. Samulili (talk) 17:07, 24 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
• The file Nanjing China shows attribution as being from Chinese Wikipedia. On Chinese Wikipedia, there exists this image: zh:文件:Js-nanjing.png, which is GFDL licensed. 70.29.208.129 (talk) 07:09, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  • That file does predate the one on the English Wikipedia so it's very likely the original one. I don't understand Chinese at all, but there may be a problem: Both the GFDL license [1] and the preceding PD claim [2] were not added by the uploader. Samulili (talk) 07:50, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
