Abandoned draft portal on a narrow topic.
This portal was created[1] in June 2016 by Metalworker14 (talk · contribs), who is still active. However the portal was abandoned after creation. That's no criticism of Metalworker14; WP:NOTCOMPULSORY, and any editor is entitled to move on to other interests.
All the subpages are basically as create in 2016: one /Christian hardcore news, one /Selected picture, one /Selected article and one /Did you know.
So it's not a portal, just a one-page flier. Per WP:PORTAL, "Portals serve as enhanced 'Main Pages' for specific broad subjects", but this doens;t really even enhance the v poor start-class head article Christian hardcore.
WP:POG guides that portals should be about "broad subject areas, which are likely to attract large numbers of interested readers and portal maintainers". But this hasn't attracted maintainers, and at 6 pageviews per day, it's not even half the abysmal median of 12 views per day for all portals.
Essentially this is a sub-sub-genre of music: the Christian sub-genre of the hardcore punk sub-genre of punk music. The lack of attention paid to the head article is one indication of its narrowness, and Christian hardcore isn't even mentioned in the text of the article Hardcore punk, though it is linked from the infobox.
So I recommend: delete, with pejuduce against re-creation. BrownHairedGirl (talk) • (contribs) 03:19, 9 May 2019 (UTC)
