Mark as stub and move to mainspace? It looks like a well-intentioned user, trying to create an article about the school. I can see similar articles like Moore Catholic High School, Moore Traditional High School, Bishop Moore High School, North Moore High School, and I think that the custom is that all high schools are allowed by default to have its own article. --Enric Naval (talk) 02:48, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Create stub on mainspace seems the best solution? This is a "User" page afterall and not a candidate for deletion. Just an editor not realizing how to use a sandbox for testing article creations. WP:USER gives correct usage of the page.--Sting Buzz Me... 03:05, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok I've been bold and created the stub at Moore High School, Oklahoma so it can be expanded, moved, AfD'd whatever? Also left a message on the user talk page of user Rledaman re user page usage etc. Can probably just wipe the content off his/her userpage as it now exists (for now) in mainspace.--Sting Buzz Me... 03:21, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Well the guideline does mention that, "pages kept in userspace should not be designed to functionally substitute for articles" but if you think it is a matter of taste who am I to argue? I'm happy to leave it to the closing admin to decide. I certainly wasn't trying to bite any newbie. Notice the welcome template I left? Keep This is a legit article in someones userspace. Both WP:USER and WP:NOT state that the main purpose of the userspace is to help you in your work on WP. This user could use this as a draft for an improved version of that stub. This is 100% appropriate use of userspace.--SJP (talk) 05:11, 20 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Keep. Appropriate use of userspace. It is not suitable for mainspace. Even if it were inappropriate, as per WP:UP, "The best option is to draw their attention to the matter on their talk page and let them edit their user page themselves if they agree on a need to do so."
