The result of the discussion was Userfy. This page appears to be useful, but to a limited audience at this time. Userfied without redirect, however did add to the Wikipedia:Text_editor_support#NoteTab list as well. This really doesn't add anything outside of the NoteTab article it is based on. The use of regular expressions is much better covered and certainly more findable at WP:REGEX (originally an AutoWikiBrowser page, but most of the content is relevant to any regex implementation). the wub "?!" 11:22, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

• delete or userfy. Any text editor can be used to work on WP; the case can be made for any of them. Anything not covered by NoteTab is the author expressing their personal preference, not useful advice, and we already have Wikipedia:Text editor support for general advice.--JohnBlackburne^words_deeds 13:37, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
• Keep as how-to page: The essay provides advice for using the NoteTab editor on Wikipedia, such as the examples about removing wikilinks, which are a feature of Wikipedia. As an essay, the page allows listing examples which have been rejected and removed from the "NoteTab" page, and hence that essay provides information beyond the other pages mentioned.
