Wikipedia:Long-term abuse/Ararat arev[edit]

Most people would disagree with this nomination: but If we believe in WP:DENY and WP:RBI, then is there any need to create "Hall Of Fame"for vandals. Strong keep The abuse is active and ongoing. The "Hall of Fame" argument is spurious and outweighed by LTA's value in identifying and dealing with further abuse, particularly sockpuppetry, from editors who have severely disrupted Wikipedia. These are not garden variety trolls and vandals. Please read Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Long-term abuse (2nd nomination) which ended in "Snow Keep". It clearly outlines the consensus for keeping LTA pages in general, and particularly those with on-going abuse. Template:NOINDEX keeps the page out of search engines. This is appears to be a very ill-thought out campaign to circumvent the consensus at Wikipedia:Miscellany for deletion/Wikipedia:Long-term abuse (2nd nomination), piece by piece. Snow keep - A quick glance at the page shows that this isn't a troll looking for recognition, this is a POV-pusher who would rather not have recognition -- WP:DENY is completely inappropriate. Ian.thomson (talk) 15:01, 19 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
