Professional-looking map uploaded by a user with a spotty history on image copyright concerns and no clear indication that it was self-made. kmccoy (talk) 05:24, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Looks very much like a promo shot, found at least one smaller version of this online after a quick Google search[1]. Sherool (talk) 07:18, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

With no statement about the uploader taking this photo, and considering the other imagery uploaded by this user, I consider all of their contribs to be suspect and worth looking into. kmccoy (talk) 07:32, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Same as my issues above, this user seems to have just gone around the web and grabbed images for upload. There's no consistent quality to his images, and this one, unlike the others, has EXIF data indicating it was taken by a Canon 20D. I am skeptical that this user took this image. I'd much rather see it replaced and deleted. kmccoy (talk) 08:06, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

no evidence this fits commons:Template:PD-Mexico or that it is public domain in the US anyway Magog the Ogre (talk) 16:40, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

no evidence that the said site owns the copyright on this image, or even if it does, that the copyright holder has passed away long enough ago to put into PD. Magog the Ogre (talk) 17:21, 19 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
