As if anyone would enter this in search. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:48, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Amazon allows it so you can find a specific edition. Wikipedia, however, does not refer to a specific edition. — The Man in Question (in question) 06:47, 8 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Kevin, the Ambidextrous Freak

The result of the discussion was Delete ~ Amory (utc) 03:22, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

While Kevin is ambidextrous, he is never referred to as "the ambidextrous freak". I suggest delete. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:46, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for finding that example. It clearly demonstrates that "the ambidextrous freak" is a description, not a title (hence the comma). — The Man in Question (in question) 02:02, 17 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of Guardians

The result of the discussion was delete. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 22:19, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Too general to refer to A Series of Unfortunate Events. The "guardians" referenced are simply legal guardians appearing in the series, not some group of characters known as Guardians or whatever. (Should be deleted.) — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:45, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of Guardian in A Series of Unfortunate Events

The result of the discussion was delete. No pagemove history, by the way, as the page was created as a redirect. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 22:26, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Pointless typo for "List of Guardians in A Series of Unfortunate Events", a page which is now only a redirect anyway. 4 pageviews in November. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:41, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The above is preserved as the archive of an RfD nomination. Please do not modify it.

Fernald, The Hook-Handed Man (Hookie)

The result of the discussion was delete. Pagemove history is preserved here. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 22:24, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The concept that anyone would type this in search seems absurd. The character is known as both "Fernald" (Fernald (A Series of Unfortunate Events)) and the "Hook-handed man", and very briefly he is referred to as "Hookie", but never as Fernald the Hook-handed Man or anything similar. One doesn't keep a page like Abraham Lincoln, 16th President (Honest Abe) or other such nonsense. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:39, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Tony "Mommy" Eggmonterorer

The result of the discussion was relisted at Wikipedia:Redirects for discussion/Log/2009 December 16. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 22:58, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

No mention in target article. Only three and twelve pageviews in November, respectively. Anyone searching Google for information on this topic will not find it on Wikipedia. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:33, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

One of these has some history, but what about retargetting to either Animals in A Series of Unfortunate Events#Mamba du Mal or Lemony Snicket: The Unauthorized Autobiography#Hidden Anagrams? Personally I prefer the latter since it is currently more useful, but I'm not sure that information is going to last. ~ Amory (utc) 16:28, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If the autobiography ever becomes a Good Article or better, it will undoubtedly lose the "Hidden Anagrams" section in the process, as you've suggested. Honestly, it seems so trivial. I understand the worries about page history, but still…especially the first (Tony "Mommy" Eggmonterorer), which is not notable, not mentioned in the target article, and not spelled correctly at all. Some editors have frowned on my use of analogies before, but still, it's like creating a Billy Ray Cryrus[1] redirect to List of 30 Rock characters or something. It just makes you say, "What?" — The Man in Question (in question) 20:29, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The result of the discussion was Delete ~ Amory (utc) 16:15, 11 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Count Olaf's Castle

The result of the discussion was delete. Pagemove history is preserved here. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 22:42, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Really? Anyone searching will find Lemony Snicket. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:11, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mmm. I knew this one wouldn't fly after I posted it. Ah, well. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 01:11, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Maybe it's worth pointing out that there is already a redirect Lemony Snickett. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 02:32, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment then why do you want to delete it? 70.29.209.121 (talk) 05:20, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Well, deletions, etc., hopefully aren't personal issues—but I inherently dislike clutter. Two articles that represent the same misspelling, only differentiated by capitalization, doesn't fly with me. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 06:30, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
However, remember that inbound external links with incorrect capitalisation do not work. This redirect is still beneficial, hope this helps. --Taelus (talk) 12:02, 5 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Mmm, I did drop the ball not checking Google on this one. All right. Although it would seem there are only really 880 valid Google hits: [2]. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 07:46, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

List of Prufrock Prepatory School Staff

The result of the discussion was delete. Pagemove history is preserved here. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 22:54, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Silly misspelling of List of Prufrock Preparatory School Staff, a redirect to a page which does not discuss the topic anyway. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:08, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The above is preserved as the archive of an RfD nomination. Please do not modify it.

A Series of Unfortunate Events: In the Clutches of Count Olaf

The result of the discussion was delete. –BLACK FALCON (TALK) 21:25, 16 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Not a title or working title or anything else for the film. Seems to be someone's fanciful description of the promotional poster. No one thinks the film is called this. — The Man in Question (gesprec) · (forðung) 19:07, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Only 17 hits on Google and 3 pageviews in November. Seriously, this one's ripe for deletion. — The Man in Question (gesprec) 10:12, 7 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

ASOUE summary

The result of the discussion was Delete ~ Amory (utc) 13:11, 12 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Hugo (A Series of Unfortnate Events)

The result of the discussion was Delete ~ Amory (utc) 03:23, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
