Pseudo-clerking note: I have merely fixing the RfD nomination originally by Avernarius which was malformed. GMGtalk 17:44, 23 October 2017 (UTC) GMGtalk 17:44, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Move to Census-designated places in Washington and delete the misspelled one. Similar search terms exist for Colorado and Louisiana, and to a lesser part (New York). AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 18:04, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Delete Implausible typo, and a correctly spelled redirect already exists. --Stefan2 (talk) 22:59, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Retarget arrow to List_of_Internet_phenomena#Gaming per AngusWOOF. Keep "Fus ro dah" where it is, because the game also pretty much contains those words, so it's unclear if people are looking for its use as a meme, or just where the words came from. While the article may not contain it, I am sure that notable sources can be found.ZXCVBNM (TALK) 13:06, 13 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

vDOS is a notable unrelated DOS emulator: https://vdos.info/ ; the only link to this page refers to the emulator, not to Norton Commander (talk) 15:19, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Comment. Unfortunately, I am unable to decode the message. What were you trying to say?
I don't know if vDOS is a notable DOS emulator, but I do know that what became known as Norton Commander was originally named VDOS (from Visual DOS), hence the redirect. (See also: John Socha)
If you want to write an article about the DOS emulator, you can do so under a title like vDOS (emulator) and we can change the redirect VDOS into a disambiguation page for the two subjects. Does this help? --Matthiaspaul (talk) 16:45, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
I do know that what became known as Norton Commander was originally named VDOS (from Visual DOS) — this was not explained at Norton Commander at the time of nomination (I added it just now). It's understandable that the nominator would be confused why the redirect sent him there. When you create a redirect, you should ensure that the target page explains it, since readers generally will never see the templates (like ((R from former name))) on the redirect page. 59.149.124.29 (talk) 11:33, 26 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Comment I think people might be looking for vDOS related to cyberattacks [1][2] but I'm not sure what article would best serve that. AngusWOOF (bark • sniff) 17:02, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Keep. For as long as the nominator does not explain himself in better words, there's no reason to change anything. The redirect is valid as it is. If additional topics need to be disambiguated, the redirect can be changed into a disambiguation page later on. --Matthiaspaul (talk) 23:11, 25 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Disambiguate per WP:ONEBLUELINKDAB: The existing article does not automatically become the primary topic. Judging from Google News, vDOS (botnet) is far more likely to be what people are looking for than the current target; the only problem is that the sole mention of it we have right now (at Brian Krebs) is not very good. In Google Books, "VDOS" is most commonly either as a plural for VDO, or as an abbreviation for Vibrational density of states (discussed briefly in Wikipedia at Random walk#Number of distinct sites). 59.149.124.29 (talk) 11:33, 26 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]

This redirect is an implausible typo and should have been deleted per CSD R3 (or suppressed) after the article was moved. Since the criterion is no longer applicable (due to the delay), and the redirect is not really useful or helpful, I propose it's deletion through this process. Keep -an "implausible typo"? aCcidentally UsinG tHe WronG uppER oR LoWer caSe... is completely plausible and not a spelling-error, which is what 'typo' actually means in this context. — fortunavelut luna 13:40, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Keep as Fortuna, it seems highly plausible to me, and apparently redirects are cheap. Tidying up after a page move is entirely optional. Dysklyver 14:03, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Keep as mover – consensus is that these redirects are almost always kept. J947( c ) (m) 18:03, 23 October 2017 (UTC)Reply[reply]
