Nomination[edit]

Andrew J Powers (talk · contribs) – I have only been using Wikipedia for less than a month and I like to be nice to other people. I have edited over 150 things and I plan to continue. I have welcomed many people to Wikipedia. Andrew J Powers (talk) 19:53, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Questions for the candidate[edit]

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
A:Checking bad user names and taking action.
2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
A:Welcoming people, because I want people to know what to do and just to welcome them.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A:I have had a user previously say I was using an script because I was welcoming so many new users. I just told him nicely that all I was doing was welcoming new users because I like to.

Oppose[edit]
  1. Oppose Per WP:NOTNOW Baseball Watcher 20:10, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  2. Oppose I really try to avoid outright opposes at RFA, but 188 edits is just not enough to run. Monty845 20:11, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
  3. Not now. Not enough experience, sorry. Also, the fact that you didn't follow the instructions and put this request at the bottom of the RfA page doesn't make it any better. Ajraddatz (Talk) 20:14, 1 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
