Questions for the candidate[edit]

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
A: If I become an administrator I would like to participate in wp:AIAV and also wp:RPP. I would also like to take part in wp:SPI , wp:UAA and the administrator notice boards such as wp:AN3 and wp:AIN. I would also work in speedy deletation requests and reviewing images that have been marked for relatively speedy deletion. I would also work to clean up any administrative backlogs that exsisit.
2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
A: I would say that my best contribution would be my effort towards vandal fighting. I revert vandalism and have recently joined wp:abuse. I also from time to time work in wp:backlog primarily with images that need to be moved to commons. I've also started to get more involved in writing articles and improving existing ones.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A: There are a few times that I recall such as dealing with angry vandals. In these cases I kindly explain to them why their revision was reverted. As I believe in not insulting vandals I also sometimes get messages from authors asking why their articles were speedied and I take the time to explain to the the notability guidelines of Wikipedia.

Neutral[edit]
  1. Comment - I'm not going to oppose, because I don't want to discourage you. You seem to have made a good start. However, I can't support you, because your experience is not really sufficient to be seeking adminship right now. I'm sure that, later, with more experience, you could make a good admin, and judging from your helpful contributions so far, I'd be likely to support, then. I'd recommend reading WP:NOTNOW, and looking through some previous unsuccessful and successful RFAs to understand the high levels of contribution and experience editors expect to see in an Admin candidate. I do encourage you to keep up the good work you are doing in the meantime.  Begoon•talk 04:10, 13 September 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
