Nomination[edit]

Cliffmore (talk · contribs) – Me, Cliffmore has been responsible for several key edits in Wikipedia. I am an auto-confirmed user. My main accomplishment was when General James L. Jones resigned and I edited all the pages relating to the General Jones, Thomas E. Donilon (his successor), and the National Security Advisor position. I added the recent photo of Donilon which I retrieved from whitehouse.gov. During the BP Oil Spill I got protection for Tony Hayward's page as it had a high risk of vandalism. I really enjoy politics which is my main area of expertise. I think I will be great help to the team. thank you. I a not UnitedNow but I pushed for the protection he proposed.Cliffmore (talk) 19:12, 10 October 2010 (UTC) Cliffmore (talk) 19:12, 10 October 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Questions for the candidate[edit]

Dear candidate, thank you for offering to serve Wikipedia as an administrator. Please answer these questions to provide guidance for participants:

1. What administrative work do you intend to take part in?
A: I plan on working with other admins to grow our community and crack down on false edits and vandalism.
2. What are your best contributions to Wikipedia, and why?
A: I would say cracking down on false edits mainly on pages relating to politics as I have much knowledge relating to that subject.
3. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or have other users caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
A: I have never been in a conflict relating to edits however I have been on Wikipedia for a while and I would presumably know how to work out the conflict.

Support[edit]

Oppose[edit]
  1. Oppose, as you are far too inexperienced (see WP:NOTNOW). What few edits you do have don't strike me as impressive; for example, your premature updates to National Security Advisor (United States), James L. Jones, and Thomas E. Donilon are misleading in that they give the impression that Donlin has already succeeded Jones, whilst he has only yet announced his forthcoming retirement. I cannot find any contributions for you relating to Tony Hayward, unless you made this edit, in which case you are blocked user UnitedNow (talk · contribs), who was already counseled about premature RfAs. In fact, if you are going to claim this credit, then I will ask for a sockpuppetry request. bahamut0013wordsdeeds 23:56, 10 October 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
  2. Oppose as NOTNOW. As for you presuming you would know how to handle conflict, I see no evidence that would allow me to presume that -- PhantomSteve.alt/talk\[alternate account of Phantomsteve] 08:59, 20 October 2010 (UTC)Reply[reply]
  3. Oppose While I welcome your desire to contribute more to Wikipedia cannot support you at this moment as per WP:NOTNOW.Pharaoh of the Wizards
