Electrodynamicist[edit]

Details and pointers in admin intervention requests here and here. DVdm 19:02, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Additional information needed: Please provide diffs on this page tying the accounts together. --Deskana (talk) 17:36, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, practically all diffs on all contribs pages of the users in the list above are targetting the same page at the same time with the same message, which clearly shows at least to me and a few others that they are special purpose accounts. That's why I requested the check. Copying all these links one by one onto this page really seems a bit awkward. Cheers, DVdm 18:40, 16 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, the IPs resolve to several different locations. Bangkok, Virginia, London and Wales. Given the geolocations, it is physically impossible that all the IPs are operated by the same people. --Deskana (talk) 12:17, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I had checked the individual IPs. Did you check the IPs behind the usernames as well? If so, I guess there's nothing one can do about this. Thanks and cheers, DVdm 12:34, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I've not performed any checks yet. I was just commenting on the locations of the IPs. What exactly are you requesting if you don't think the users are the same? --Deskana (talk) 13:17, 17 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I do think that they (or at least some of them) are the same, even if apparently posting from different locations. I do also realize that in such case nothing can be done about it. But I can't check the IPs of the usernames - and those are of course the interesting ones. I suspect that we're dealing with at least one, perhaps more puppeteers, but unfortunately the interface requires a single puppeteer username. That's why I requested the check.  Clerk note: Based on simple observations, I've blocked Dr. Seaweed, Fagrah Sawdust, Brigadier Armstrong, Nurse Hilditch, and The Marmosets indefinitely sockpuppets through deduction of writing style and wikiformatting style.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 10:27, 19 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed all registered accounts, except Electrodynamicist is Red X Unrelated. No comment on the IPs. --Deskana (talk) 17:47, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

It seems we have another one that slipped through the maze:

It appears that Swanzsteve (talk+ · tag · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log · CA · CheckUser(log· investigate · cuwiki) is behind this mayhem.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 21:58, 22 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Red X Unrelated. I have unblocked Swanzsteve accordingly. Clerks, please archive. Nothing to be done. --Deskana (talk) 18:41, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
