LokiiT

Finalyzer tried to remove certain sourced content from 2008 South Ossetia war:

LokiiT tried to remove precisely the same information from the same article, just a week ago: [2][3]

Finalyzer and LokiiT often use similar language and abbreviations in edit summaries (e.g."WP:OR" and WP:REDFLAG), as can see from their recent edit histories [4] [5]

I believe LokiiT is trying to evade editing restrictions imposed by ArbCom. He was listed in ArbCom enforcement here.

After receiving an official warning, LokiiT deleted this warning and apparently decided to restore to sockpuppetry.Biophys (talk) 14:40, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed the similarity as well. Finalyzer also started editing the Ossetia pages a day after LokiiT stopped doing so. Could an admin please check if either of them is using a proxy? Grey Fox (talk) 16:19, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
So I was right... LokiiT (talk) 19:59, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I talked about sockpuppetry of User:Miyokan, not about you. I only cited this your statementBiophys (talk) 20:31, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And I was right. You accuse everyone who disagrees with you of sockpupptry. It just took you a while to get to me. Oh and also, it's kind of ironic that you posted that conversation here. That user Pieter I was talking about, I recently learned that he's Greyfox's old account (the guy who just posted here that he agrees with Biophys).LokiiT (talk) 20:49, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
By the way, I just looked at those diffs and that's information that many other people have tried to remove. It's false information, contradicted by every single mainstream source, and you're trying to put it in the intro. What exactly did you expect? LokiiT (talk) 20:26, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Irrelevant.Biophys (talk) 20:31, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No it's not irrelevant. Your entire argument is that we both removed some false information from the article which about 20 other people have already done. You accuse people of sock puppetry with no evidence at all on a daily basis, if you like fishing so much you might want to try it at a lake some time. LokiiT (talk) 20:40, 1 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh dear, while it is  Possible that Finalyzer (talk · contribs) is related to LokiiT (talk · contribs), the following accounts are  Confirmed as being socks of LokiiT:
  1. Johnnycashnin (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  2. Crazytrain89 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  3. Parmegan (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  4. Enairku (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
  5. Krawndawg (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)
A few of them appear to be throwaway accounts for revert-warring on 2008 South Ossetia war. There is one other account in there which I believe to be unrelated due to its edit history, so I will not name it - Alison 06:40, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh wow, are you sure about Krawndawg? That user is inactive but was quite active before. They are indeed rather similar. Grey Fox (talk) 13:37, 2 October 2008 (UTC) Ah I see he admitted it, which is odd because as Krawndawg he declared he left wikipedia because of "herassment" of biophys[6]. Note that before that he was blocked for personal attacks against biophys. Grey Fox (talk) 13:55, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
All accounts except LokiiT blocked. Not sure what to do about the main account. Perhaps ask for review at WP:ANI. Thatcher 14:38, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Can you check if User:Finalyzer is using a proxy? Grey Fox (talk) 15:05, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah I did try to abandon that account and all its associated articles because of the harassment. Apparently I can't escape it though. And hey look at this, he's still at it. He thinks I live in Russia and work for the GRU..can you blame me for trying to get away from him? LokiiT (talk) 15:46, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

information Note: Based on the IP history, I would say it is likely that Finalyzer and LokiiT know each other but unlikely they are the same person. Finalyzer is not using proxies. Offliner is in a different country from both Krawndawg and the 82.138 IP address. Alexandre Koriakine is too old for direct comparison. Thatcher 16:14, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I just checked and User:Krawndawg (the earliest account we know of this user) started his account with exceptional knowledge of wiki rules and functions. It's quite obvious this wasn't his first account. Grey Fox (talk) 16:16, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Who knows? There is also user LoKi from Russian wiki who "usurped" his name from someone else ([7]; User talk:LoKi (usurped)), but that is probably a different person.Biophys (talk) 19:18, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
A number of SPAs are currently engaged in editing 2008 South Ossetia war and related subjects: XChile (talk · contribs), Pubkjre (talk · contribs), and HistoricWarrior007 (talk · contribs). Two slightly older accounts are currently inactive: Muromec (talk · contribs) and Tananka (talk · contribs); the latter behaved similar to recently blocked Bogorm (talk · contribs). The newer SPAs might be related to Finalyzer (talk · contribs) or LokiiT (talk · contribs).Biophys (talk) 21:23, 2 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Finalyzer (talk · contribs) and LokiiT (talk · contribs) are unrelated to XChile (talk · contribs), Pubkjre (talk · contribs), or HistoricWarrior007 (talk · contribs).  Confirmed LokiiT (talk · contribs) = Everyroad (talk · contribs) (old sock from July). Tananka (talk · contribs) is unrelated to Bogorm (talk · contribs). Nishkid64 (Make articles, not wikidrama) 02:18, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
