Pam55[edit]

This request is made per recommendation from User:YechielMan at [1].

Please, take a look at the entire editing history [2] of User:Pam55. Since the first registration of this account in February and up to now, the user had 10-15 edits and have been doing nothing but making reverts for User:Hajji Piruz/User:Azerbaijani - [3], and voting for his proposals [4], and serving as revert mechanism for User:Behmod - [5], rving admin edit [6] to User:Behmod's - [7], [8] and User:Mardavich - [9] or inserting fact tags. No contribution history otherwise.

Also the block log [10] already shows one 4-day block in March for being a suspected sockpuppet of User:Behmod. The evidence establishes a strong reason to believe an obvious meatpuppetry going on for revert warring and going around 3RR restriction. Atabek 06:24, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

 Confirmed. Behmod = Pam55. Voice-of-All 21:42, 19 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

information Note: Pam55, Behmod now blocked indef for sockery - Alison 04:54, 20 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

information Note: I have an E-mail exchange with Behmod, another Iranian user and VoA. It appears that Behmod and Pam55 are two students of the same department of a University. In the worst case they are guilty of a mild meatpuppeting (discussing the wiki matters in person and then both editing the same article). Even if it was meatpuppeting, their accounts combined never violated 3RR or both !voted in any discussion. I will unblock them and give them warnings Alex Bakharev 04:13, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The account of User:Pam55 was mostly used to make reverts to controversial articles like Azerbaijani people, History of the name Azerbaijan or 300 (film). It is highly improbable that a new user would accidentally become aware of the disputes on those articles and appeared right in time to rv in favor of a certain POV. I think that Pam55 is either a sock or meatpuppet and as such should be banned. Behmod should be warned not to use socks or meats anymore. I don't think that it was a correct decision to lift a ban from a proven sock and I will have to raise the issue with the arbcom, which is going to review Armenia - Azerbaijan case. I've had email correspondence from Behmod, but absolutely none from Pam55. Behmod, I believe, may be a misguided meatpuppet but I've no visibility on Pam55. Behmod refused to take his appeal to unblock-en-l , however. Either way, as the blocking admin, I'll defer to you on this one - Alison 04:37, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I raised the issue at WP:ANI: [11] Please comment. Thanks. --Grandmaster 04:51, 22 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
