Discussion

It appears to me that both Venki123 and Mudaliar are using socks to continue edit warring,[1][2][3][4] and to go after each other.[5][6][7] See also Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Youonlylivetwice and Wikipedia:Suspected sock puppets/Youonlylivetwice (2nd).

I am especially keen to know if any of these parties are using open proxies. Jehochman Talk 23:29, 5 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Venki123[edit]

Venki123 (talk · contribs) was banned by arbitration committee for 1 year [9] for vandalising and abusing other editors in Mudaliar and Sengunthar articles.

He is again edit-warring on the same articles using the id Saedirof (talk · contribs), Santhosh2011 (talk · contribs) and other ids listed above to create the illusion of multiple users and to push his POV. Check contributions as he is just warring on those two articles.

Saedirof (talk · contribs) Check [10], [11], [12], where he is just deleting a lot of academic references. Moreover he was reverted by many admins and was finally blocked for edit-warring cosntantly.

Santhosh2011 (talk · contribs) just mimics the same edits as Saedirof (talk · contribs) who inturn mimics the edits of banned user, Venki123 (talk · contribs) and totally vandalises the articles. Check: [13], [14], [15].

Tmanand98 (talk · contribs) once again removes academic references and vandalises the article. Check [16], [17]

All the sock puppets and related ips must be blocked to uphold the arbitration decision. Thanks Rattler61 03:39, 8 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Red X Unrelated to each other. No IP data to compare to Venki123. Never checked Saravanan99 since you provided no evidence linking this to the other accounts. And please don't tell us how or when to block, I assure you we know what we're doing. --Deskana (talk) 01:32, 15 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Venki123/Sriramwins[edit]

Venki123 (talk · contribs) was banned by arbitration committee for 1 year [18] for vandalising and abusing other editors in Mudaliar and Sengunthar articles. This week Sriramwins (talk · contribs) was also found to be a sock puppet of Venki123 (talk · contribs) and was banned by admin Voice_of_All (talk · contribs).

He is also editing the same articles using the id Believedviolent (talk · contribs) to create the illusion of multiple users and push his POV. It is obvious from his contributions that he is a sock puppet of Venki123/ Sriramwins. Now he has reappeared as Ramki_one (talk · contribs) and is doing a check user on me. This id has absolutely no contributions whatsoever and was just created to do a check user on me. Ramki_one (talk · contribs) is not an absolute newbie as he says because a real newbie would atleast have a few legitimate contributions. Moreover why is Ramki_one (talk · contribs) so concerned [19] if Xylophonic (talk · contribs) did a checkuser on Venki123 (talk · contribs)/ Sriramwins (talk · contribs)(which led to Sriramwins (talk · contribs) getting banned)? This is definitely a sock puppet of Venki123 (talk · contribs)/ Sriramwins (talk · contribs) by duck test. Please test the ids and ips against both Venki123 (talk · contribs) and Sriramwins (talk · contribs) as Sriramwins (talk · contribs) was the more recent block. All the sock puppets and related ips must be banned to uphold the arbitration decision. Thanks Baccarat 20:19, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

no Declined. Enough socks checking socks.Voice-of-All 02:52, 7 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Venki123/Sriramwins[edit]

Venki123 (talk · contribs) was banned by arbitration committee for 1 year [20] for vandalising and abusing other editors in Mudaliar and Sengunthar articles. Now Sriramwins (talk · contribs) (from the contributions it is very obvious) and others seem to be a sock puppet of banned user Venki123 (talk · contribs) and are editing the same articles with exactly the same POV.Xylophonic 04:48, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

 Clerk note: Merged from Wikipedia:Requests for checkuser/Case/Sriramwins. – Luna Santin (talk) 08:21, 2 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

 Likely. Venki123 = Sriramwins. Voice-of-All 17:59, 3 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Venki123[edit]

User:Weldingveerasamy is clearly a very recent user who is taking part in the current arbitration [21]. He clearly seems to be a sock puppet of Venki123 (talk · contribs) who is playing both sides to create confusion

Arbitration case: [22].

Links: [23],[24], [25], [26] Request a check for socket puppet. This is a serious issue. Thanks, Mudaliar 19:56, 11 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

no Declined. See above: Situation: Question about a possible sock puppet related to an open arbitration case. Solution: Request checkuser on the arbitration case pages. --jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 15:10, 13 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Venki123[edit]

Repeated vandalism of Mudaliar and Sengunthar articles over the past few months. I furnish some of the vandalised diffs beside the above ips/users. Venki123 (talk · contribs) has been constantly deleting and trashing heavily referenced sections. I suggest a block on the ips and this user. Could you check and say if any of the users are socket puppets of Venki123 (talk · contribs) or if any of the ips are related to Venki123 (talk · contribs)? Thanks. Mudaliar 14:05, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Clerk note: I have removed the IP addresses because the privacy policy prevents checkusers from commenting on them. PTO 14:16, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The diffs associated with those addresses appear to contribute to the requesting user's case, so I'll replace those here: [37] [38] [39] [40] [41] [42] [43] [44]. – Luna Santin (talk) 18:17, 26 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

no Declined. I fail to see how any of this implicates Venki. It sounds like you need dispute resolution. Dmcdevit·t 17:20, 30 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]
