WAREL (talk · contribs) and DYLAN_LENNON (talk · contribs)[edit]

These accounts are widely believed to be socks of each other by members of the Wikipedia mathematics community. Both accounts are under review for exhausting the patience of the community; see

No one has expressed any doubt that these are socks (neither user has denied it) but it would be nice to have solid technical evidence to back a permanent block of one account.

Both accounts have recently participated in revert wars at field (mathematics) (hist) as well as other places. Both accounts edit the same articles with the same mindless revert strategy with minimal or no discussion.

The DYLAN account is older (2005/07/10 16:44:45) but ceased edits when the WAREL account was created (2006/02/17 22:00:03). The DYLAN account remained inactive until prompted back into activity by a block against WAREL on 2006/04/03. Now both accounts are editing and engaging in revert wars.
