This RfC is in response to a recent edit war regarding Supertramp, a band that formed in London and had a mix of English, Scottish, and American members. What default position should we take when a band is formed in one country, but contains members who are from elsewhere?
Band nationality determined by place of formation ("Supertramp was an Englsh rock band formed in London [...]")
Band nationality determined by nationalities of members ("Supertramp was an Anglo-American rock band formed in London [...]")
as above, but limited to nationalities of core or founding members (in the Supertramp example, we would be accounting just Roger Hodgson and Rick Davies, who are both English)
Band nationality ignored ("Supertramp was a rock band formed in London [...]")
Two editors object the addition of content regarding opinion polls for Gabriel Boric during his presidency [1][2]. There are claims that the content in question:
1) "lack any context",
2) and such contents ammounts to "unnecessary comments be it from a far-right or a left wing source."
3) "To be objective is to create a table or a graph with the opinion poll or approval rating data"
My question is what do third parties think about these claims and do they find my revised addition of content [3] appropriate for this article? Dentren | Talk 10:11, 24 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Is this information with this citation alright to include on the page?
On 5 April 2022, it was revealed that Truss was among 405 MPs who have charged energy bills to the public purse by claiming expenses for their heating bills since April 2019. The investigation revealed that Truss had claimed £1,548 for gas and electricity since April 2019.[1] Helper201 (talk) 16:56, 12 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Shall we include or exclude this content regarding the conspiracy theorist allegation. Seems to be the subject of recent TE that resulted in PP. Thanks! Jtbobwaysf (talk) 09:28, 11 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
John Rose married his wife while she was in college and he was in his forties. This was first noted in a Twitter thread, and later in an article in The American Prospect. Should the "Personal life" section read Rose and his wife Chelsea (née Doss) married in January 2011. or something more like Rose met his wife, Chelsea (née Doss) when she was a student at Tennessee Technological University and he was a member of the Board of Directors. She cited his provision of the Rose Scholarship as well as his coaching as instrumental in her success in Future Farmers of America. They were married in January 2011; at the time, he was 45 and she was 21 and a college senior.? grendel|khan 18:13, 10 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Relative to the discussion above, should Tricky (musician) be listed in the infobox as a past member of the group? Or should he be removed from the infobox because he was only a collaborator? Binksternet (talk) 21:16, 9 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Should we include a description of doubts some people have about some of Lee's accounts of North Korean prison camps, such as:
The authenticity of some of Lee's accounts of North Korean prison camps have been questioned by some South Korean researchers and North Korean defectors.
Is content (including the blockquote of Smith's resignation statement and AMPAS response) WP:DUE for this article or is it WP:UNDUE given the spinoff article? – Muboshgu (talk) 18:40, 2 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Add the tag ((rfc|xxx)) at the top of a talk page section, where "xxx" is the category abbreviation. The different category abbreviations that should be used with ((rfc)) are listed above in parenthesis. Multiple categories are separated by a vertical pipe. For example, ((rfc|xxx|yyy)), where "xxx" is the first category and "yyy" is the second category.
