Well that's disappointing, I talked with him only two weeks ago.
The following accounts are strongly connected:

Whether the edits were made by one person alone or not (he mentions his wife in the archive) does not really matter, the accounts are used inappropriately all the same.

User name is one letter different from the user who brought the article Jeff Duran to AFD. Evidence of an issue forming between these two users here: [2]. Note: In order to avoid confusion between two similar usernames, in the following I write one as "Dufbeerforme" and the other as "Duffbeerforme".
Dufbeerforme is clearly a disruptive username, likely to be confused with Duffbeerforme, so I have already blocked the account indefinitely for that reason. Looking into the matter further, I now see other problems. In view of JosephDann's animosity towards Duffbeerforme, it is entirely possible that JosephDann might created such an impersonation account. Dufbeerforme's only edit was part of a pair of edits made jointly by JosephDann and Dufbeerforme, the main effect of which was to remove a speedy deletion tag that Duffbeerforme had placed on an article created by JosephDann, but making it look as though the final edit had been done by Duffbeerforme. Add to all this JosephDann's known history of sockpuppetry, and I regard it as a DUCK case, and I shall block JosephDann indefinitely too. JamesBWatson (talk) 13:30, 23 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

More SPA accounts editing around Jeff Duran, aka Jeffrey Dandurand. Like a previous sockpuppet of JosephDann (User:Dufbeerforme with one f) the first, Duphbeerforme, is clearly a disruptive username, designed to be confused with Duffbeerforme. Edits by these accounts include: sock1) creation of Brian Holtzman ([3]), a collegue of Duran who appeared on his cd How Embarrassing. sock2) Recreation of the Duran article at Jeffrey Dandurand (as JosephDann has done. Trying to avoid attention by postion at a different spot?). Recreation of an article on Duran's cd Defects of Character. Putting Dandurand into various articles (eg [4] [5]). (Can't supply more diffs due to deletion). duffbeerforme (talk) 08:03, 7 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Beyond the obvious (to me) sock-puppetry, the COI continues - within a week, the subject's website was using the WP article linked directly from his website in lieu of an ABOUT page. Exactly the same thing happened last time with the other articles. Not only is the on-WP quacking fairly loud, we all know full well who owns these accounts and how they operate.
