Suspected sockpuppets

When Ral 33 first began editing in May, established user John from Idegon was among the first to give the user advice regarding a school-related article – see [1][2]. The exchange seemed somewhat hostile: see also [3].

In June and July, Ral 33 made a series of edits, mostly minor ones, to the article Frederick Douglass High School (Lexington, Kentucky). Several months later, on October 2, 2017 at 14:16, the Jim from Idegon account was created and quickly made a single edit to the Frederick Douglass High School (Lexington, Kentucky) article before being blocked for having a username which closely resembles John from Idegon. The edit that the account made was then reverted by the blocking administrator. Three hours later, Ral 33 adds a ((Welcome)) template to the user page of Jim from Idegon (after the account had already been blocked). Six hours after that, Ral 33 restores the content added by Jim from Idegon plus some extra content. Both edits share the idiosyncrasy of placing a space between the period at the end of a sentence and the <ref> tag (though admittedly, a lot of new editors do this, so this isn't the strongest behavioral tic).

I realize this occurred a little over two months ago, and as I noted, Jim from Idegon has already been blocked for a username violation. However, Ral 33 is still active, and given the early interaction between Ral 33 and John from Idegon, as well as the more recent interaction between Ral 33 and Jim from Idegon on Frederick Douglass High School (Lexington, Kentucky), I think there may be a connection between these two accounts, and I would request checkuser for more information.
