Suspected sockpuppets

They are all the same editor, and I warned this person about WP:Socking. The Enactor account showed up after the warning and after both of the other two accounts ceased editing. There is no telling how many sock accounts this person has. I also request WP:Sleeper checks for this case.

Although Shreyoshidasgupta has stated she is female, and Utbindas seems/is presumed to be male, over the last couple of months I have noticed a lot of suspicious similarities between their editing. They both focus on the same pages (particularly Skirt, Kogal, Miniskirt, Microskirt, Thong, Frock, Dress, etc, and both have a clear taste for a certain type of picture which is more about exposed legs/body parts/flesh than actually illustrating the garment in question. In most (but not all) cases, the edits are not really constructive, and do not improve the article, but appear to be solely for the purpose of adding more bare legs/exposed flesh. There is a clear connection between Utbindas and the range of IPs above. Both editors make very similar edits - mainly changing pictures (usually from straightforward shots to slightly sleazier/more provocative shots of dubious value to the article in question, although to be fair, sometimes the new pictures ARE an improvement, such as this substitution on Little black dress), adjusting captions/text or tweaking picture sizes for no very clear reason.

I have tried very hard to work with the editor(s), giving credit where credit is due for good sources or when they somehow manage to produce a picture that's an improvement, but increasingly, they are becoming disruptive and very wearing, especially as they keep skipping around IPs. There is a VERY wide range of IP editing linked at least to Utbindas, almost aways from the 117.197 range, but occasionally from a different 117 range. The strongest reason I have for thinking that the 117 range of IPs is Utbindas related can be seen on the Miniskirt edit history, particularly the edits that started here. After Sergecross protected this page and other pages, Utbindas popped out of the woodwork to start making the same edits as the 117 IP. There are a lot of these 117.197 range editors (the above is just a small sample), but they do almost all appear to be the same person based on which pages they edit.

I was prepared to accept at face value that the new account Shreyoshidasgupta was unconnected, despite an initial concern about immediate similarities. She stated she is female, so I will refer to that ID accordingly, and I did not want to discourage a female editor as they are underrepresented on here. However, Utbindas does appear to be a male, and Shreyoshidasgupta's editing is increasingly similar to that of Utbindas. Although suspicious, I was prepared to give the benefit of the doubt until on my talk page, IP editor 117.197.19.226 (a range that definitely appears to be linked to Utbindas) came to my talk page and removed a comment left by Shreyoshidasgupta (note that this is the one where Shreyoshidasgupta states she is female), as if they thought it was a comment they'd left earlier. Either this is two people who happen to be using the same IP range, or the IP is both Utbindas/Shreyoshidasgupta and they were altering their earlier comment, not realising it was under a logged-in ID. It is interesting to note that both Utbindas and Shreyoshidasgupta have the same bee in their bonnet about sportswomen - see Utbindas's edit summary here and also Shreyoshidasgupta is keen on sportswomen. On 26 November 2015 User:Grayfell warned Shreyoshidasgupta about posting pictures of a porn actress in various articles - something that seemed more of an Utbindas thing to do.

My feeling is that if all the 117.197 editing is collated and viewed as a whole, it will be seen that there is a long history of disruptive editing associated, lots of undone edits, and multiple warnings spread across user names. I believe that these are all one unrepentant editor who will simply continue carrying out their edits again and again, and I would appreciate an investigation of their activities. I would like to note that apparent block evasion (via anonymous editing) immediately took place on Choli and on Shorts within hours of the block on Utbindas being implemented. The Shorts edit, which introduced a photograph focusing on women's bare legs, had all the Utbindas trademarks, and took place within hours of the block being implemented.

On Sari and Choli, the IP editor in question is User:117.192.204.220 - the same IP range from which Utbindas often edits. Looking at their edit summaries, they do explicitly go after confirmed Utbindas sock Queenmiss, and use edit summaries to publicly censure them, although we have seen this same behaviour from the other socks. I am willing to believe that User:117.192.204.220 is unconnected to the recent events, but unfortunately, Utbindas has a well-documented track record of lying and pretending. As you can see on my talk page, and on Talk:Miniskirt, the socks have a track record of pretending non-perviness when it suits them - see their edits on my Talk page where as Shreyoshidagupta, they pretended to be a concerned editor "not for voyeurisitic purposes."

It is possible that User:117.192.204.220 is an unconnected editor who just happens to be using the same IP range, but it's one heck of a coincidence if so. Looking at their edits on Sari, along with a lot of text shifting and picture tweaking, they introduced a picture of an Indian actress wearing a backless choli, which, although a lot tamer than Utbindas's usual picture choices, still set off alarm bells. Except for WP:Semi-protecting articles or WP:Range blocking in some cases, I don't see what can be done. This person is using various IPs. And per Wikipedia:CheckUser#IP information disclosure, IPs usually are not publicly tied to registered accounts by WP:CheckUsers, not unless very necessary. These IPs are clearly Utbindas, and Utbindas is sometimes (not always) WP:Disruptive. If some of the articles he likes are WP:Semi-protected, this will simply lead him to create more registered accounts, if he hasn't already. As made clear at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations/Utbindas/Archive#12 December 2015, Utbindas always has the same editing focus: Images and fashion, Indian topics, nudity or sexual topics, BDSM topics, and sports. Humanweb edited the same way and that account is blocked. I also mentioned before that Humanweb is Utbindas. Although the Humanweb account is blocked, I think it would be best to have the Humanweb investigation merged with the Utbindas archive. The Humanweb account was blocked at 23:07, 19 July 2017. The Modestgal account was created at 13:45, 23 July 2017. Editor immediately began citing WP:Not censored, as seen here and here. Obviously not a newbie.
