Welcome to WikiProject Canada on the English Wikipedia! This project was formed to foster better articles on the country of Canada with a spirit of cooperation. The project is a home base that provides a place for Wikipedians (editors) to discuss issues and share information and resources regarding improvements to Canadian related articles, which can be discussed at the project's talk page. To join WikiProject Canada (anyone may join), simply list your username on the members page.
As of 10 December 2021, there are 129,562 articles within the scope of WikiProject Canada, of which 255 are featured and 730 are good articles. This makes up 2.02% of the articles on Wikipedia, 2.57% of all featured articles and lists, and 2.06% of all good articles (see: Canadian Featured content). Including non-article pages, such as talk pages, redirects, categories, etcetera, there are 367,950 pages in the project.
It is recommended that Project members add each of the following Project pages to their watchlists.
The Canadian Manual of Style is a guide applicable to all Canadian Wikipedia articles. It presents Canadian styles, and is intended to help editors to produce articles with proper Canadian language, layout, and formatting that are consistent, clear, and precise.
The outlines are hierarchical lists of topics. Each outline summarizes an entire subject, and Wikipedia's coverage of it, such as Canada, one of its provinces or territories, or a city. Each outline serves as a guide to its subject, and as a table of contents or site map of Wikipedia on that subject.
