Once you've uploaded the file, you'll need to add a couple of templates to the article in question so people can find and listen to your recording.

For a single file recording, add template ((Spoken Wikipedia)) to the "External links" section:

• ((Spoken Wikipedia|date=2024-08-13|FileName.ogg))

Remember to update the date when uploading a newer version. Do not include it as a listed item: the box will float on the right-hand side of the page.

If the reading is broken up into multiple parts, just add more unnamed (positional) parameters:

• ((Spoken Wikipedia|date=2024-08-13|FileName (part 1).ogg|FileName (part 2).ogg))
• ((Spoken Wikipedia|date=2024-08-13|FileName (part 1).ogg|FileName (part 2).ogg|FileName (part 3).ogg))
• ...

At the top of the article's talk page, add ((WikiProject Spoken Wikipedia)):

• ((WikiProject Spoken Wikipedia|FileName.ogg))

If the article was requested via the ((Spoken article requested)) template, remember to remove it from the talk page as well.
