This class is about thinking critically about information, how we find it, and what we do with it. While we often associate “research” with university or academic spaces, these are not topics limited to those spaces. We’ll be talking about the political, social, and cultural implications of our information behavior and challenging ourselves to use information more consciously and critically. Throughout this class you will reflect on your own information behavior and values so that by the time you finish the class, you will be able to develop your own philosophy of information and put it into practice.
