Wikipedia:Deletion review/Purpose

The language in point 2 of the "should not be used" is super clunky: (This point formerly required first consulting the deleting admin if possible. As per this discussion an editor is not required to consult the closer of a deletion discussion (or the deleting admin for a speedy deletion) before starting a deletion review. However doing so is good practice, and can often save time and effort for all concerned. Notifying the closer is required.)

Any thoughts on copyediting it? Best, KevinL (aka L235 · t · c) 17:36, 23 September 2022 (UTC)
