Yellow Dancer (Japanese pronunciation: [ieɾoː daꜜɰ̃saː]) is the fourth studio album by Japanese singer-songwriter Gen Hoshino. It was released on 2 December 2015 in Japan on Speedstar Records. It reached the first place on the Oricon music charts[1] and was certified platinum by Recording Industry Association of Japan.[2]
The album was promoted by three singles – "Why Don't You Play in Hell?", serving as the title song for the Sion Sono movie of the same name,[3] double A-sided "Crazy Crazy" / "Sakura no Mori",[4] and "Sun" (theme song for the dorama Kokoro ga Pokitto ne).[5] All charted in the top 5 on the Oricon. Yellow Dancer was promoted with a national live tour, titled Yellow Voyage; the final show of the tour, performed at the Osaka-jō Hall, was released as the video album Live Tour: Yellow Voyage.
