Oniyide Azeez (born 21 April 2000),[1][2] professionally known as Zinoleesky, is a Nigerian singer, songwriter and rapper.[3][4] He came to limelight with the release of his debut album "Chrome Eccentric" comprising hit tracks "Ma Pariwo" and "Kilofeshe".[5][6]
Zinoleesky was born on 21 April 1995 to Mr. and Mrs. Oniyide in Lagos State but originally hails from Ogun State, Nigeria.[7][8] He was raised in Agege, Lagos State and completed his primary education at Lively Kiddies Nursery and Primary School. He had his secondary education at Boys Secondary School Agege, Lagos State.[9]
Zinoleesky discovered his passion for music as he approached adolescence. He officially started his music journey as a freestyle rapper but became popular in 2017 after his videos went viral on the internet.[10][11]
Several reports showed that he was offered a record deal by Davido's DMW label but refused to accept the offer and chose to work as an independent artist.[12][13] On 23 December 2019, he was signed to the record label "Marlian Records" which is owned and managed by Nigerian singer, Naira Marley.[14]
Zinoleesky released his first studio album titled "Chrome Eccentric" in 2020, a year after he was signed into the Marlian Records label. The album comprised six tracks, including the songs "Mapariwo" and "Kilofeshe".[15] In September 2020, Ma Pariwo ranked as No. 14 on Apple Music Chart and No. 12 on YouTube Chart.[16]
A year after the release of his first album, Zinoleesky created a remix to the hit song "Kilofeshe" featuring Maryorkun and South African singer, Busiswah.[17]
In December 2022, he released his first EP album "Grit and Lust", containing tracks such as Call of Duty and YanYanYan.[18]
In October 2021, Zinoleesky and Naira Marley's sister, Shubomi made headlines with several speculations that they were dating.[19][20] In January 2023, he announced that he was single.[21][22][23] In December 2023, he welcomed his first child, a daughter named Zendaya.[24]
