Kumtorkalinsky Destrict (Roushie: Кумторкалинский райо́н) is an admeenistrative[1] an municipal[3] district (raion), ane o the fowerty-ane in Dagestan, Roushie. It is locatit in the east o the republic. The aurie o the destrict is 1,270 square kilometer (490 sq mi). Its admeenistrative centre is the landwart locality (a selo) o Korkmaskala.[1] Population: 24,848 (2010 Census);[4] 21,053 (2002 Census).[7] The population o Korkmaskala accoonts for 31.1% o the destrict's tot population.[4]
