Berthold is a city in Ward County, North Dakota, United States. Its population was 490 in 2020.[3] It is part of the Minot Micropolitan Statistical Area. Berthold was founded in 1900.
Berthold is at the coordinates of 48°18′58″N 101°44′9″W / 48.31611°N 101.73583°W (48.316025, -101.735776).[5] The city is 1.19 square miles (3.07 km2) of land.[1]
Berthold is in the Lewis and Clark School District.[6] That district was formed in 2003 when the Berthold School District merged with two other school districts.[7] In Berthold, the only school is Berthold Public School.[8]
