They are often seen on bestselling lists by newspapers, magazines, and bookstore chains. An author may also be called a bestseller if their work are seen on a bestseller list many times. Well-known bestseller lists in the U.S. are published by Publishers Weekly, USA Today, The New York Times and The Washington Post.^[1]
