The Central Bohemian Region is a region of the Czech Republic.[2] It covers 14% of the country, with the highest population of any region of the Czech Republic.[2] The capital city for the region is Prague.
Important rivers in the region are Elbe, Vltava, Berounka, Jizera and Sázava. Křivoklátsko Protected Landscape Area is in Central Bohemia.
