George Brainard Crist (January 23, 1931 – July 26, 2024) was a four-star general of the United States Marine Corps. He was the first Marine to be promoted as a Unified Commander — serving as Commander in Chief, United States Central Command from 1985 to 1988.[1]

Crist died on July 26, 2024 at the age of 93.[2]
