Mies is a municipality in the district of Nyon in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.
The municipality is halfway between Geneva and Nyon.
Mies is one of the municipalities of the Canton de Vaud which are collectively known as the "Terre-Sainte".
Mies is home to the headquarters of FIBA, the international governing body of basketball.[3]
