The St. Regis Chicago, formerly Wanda Vista Tower, is a 101-story, 1,198 ft (365 m) supertall skyscraper in Chicago, Illinois.[2][3][4][5][6]
Construction started in August 2016 and was completed in 2020 with the remaining portion expected to finish by the third quarter of 2021.[7] Upon completion, St. Regis became the city's third-tallest building at 1,198 ft (365 m),[8] passing the Aon Center. It is the tallest structure in the world designed by a woman.[9] It was designed by architect, Jeanne Gang. Vista Tower complements the design of the nearby Aqua skyscraper.
Vista Tower cost nearly $1 billion to construct.[10]
The tower is made up of three connecting towers with differing heights. The tower topped out in April 2019. It formed part of the Lakeshore East development.
