The Last of the Mohicans is a 1992 American adventure drama movie directed by Michael Mann and was based on the 1826 novel of the same name by James Fenimore Cooper. It stars Daniel Day-Lewis, Madeleine Stowe, Jodhi May, Wes Studi, Maurice Roëves, Eric Schweig, Steven Waddington, Pete Postlethwaite, Tracey Ellis and Colm Meaney. It was distributed by 20th Century Fox and won an Academy Award in 1993.
