→Small arms doctrine: changed "Allied" to US army as this statement is not true. British tactical doctrine centred around the use of a platoons 3x Bren gun- see Buckley J. Monty's Men p.38 or Section Leading 1938 "the light machine gun is the principal weapon of the infantry". Britain and France had adopted light machine gun doctrines prior to WW2.

Stab-in-the-back myth
→Post-war reactions and reflections: removed "UK and France were too war-weary to contemplate an invasion of Germany " as the British were planning an Offensive for 1919 (aptly named "Plan 1919"). This statement only contributes to the myth, the German army was broken by the end of 1918 whereas the Allied armies were not.

→World War II: reworked Villiers-Bocage section due to counter claims, now more neutral. Perhaps remove all Villiers-Bocage claims entirely and go for wider battle of Normandy performance? VB is problematic due to being heavily propagandised, in addition to current and heated debate amongst academics. In addition reworded and added more detail to para starting 75mm HV (perhaps all references of which should be moved to development section?)
