  • I cannot find anything on the OFC website regarding the qualification structure. The FIFA "Qualifiers" page does not mention a third round, but it also no longer says the winner of round 2 will go on to play the AFC. I think it is appropriate to assume the PDF file is correct. There will be a home and away knockout between the winner and runner-up of the OFC Nations Cup. Altordwm 14:22, 18 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
    • Look harder. The ONC Stage Two main page notes that the winner of Stage Two (the groups) plays an Asian side "The winners of Stage Two also qualify for a Stage Three home and away playoff against the 5th place side in Asia". The issue is how to do it? If we count the South-Pac games, do matches against ineligible Tuvalu count - I'd say yes, because losing to them would affect other teams' chance of qualifying.
