On 8th April did anything happen anywhere else in the world apart from the USA? It would appear from this listing that not a lot did.
If you know of anything that can be included here, please do so. RickK 23:51, 17 Apr 2004 (UTC)
I just added the proposed April 8, 2005 wedding of Prince Charles to Camilla Parker Bowles. Any problems as it has not yet occurred and may not occur? ^demon
Grace Park the actress on Battlestar Galactica was born the same day (April 8, 1980) as Katee Sackhoff. This is from an interview with Katee Sackhoff on SciFi Talk. There is another Grace Park (the golfer) born March 6, 1979 and many web sites confuse the two (obviously doing a quick Google).
can someone tell me whats this (1991- a legend is born) —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 80.80.161.133 (talk • contribs).
This event has been added and deleted several times. My reading of WP:DOY (not that it's actually official, but anyway) is that only current sports records belong. Other comments on this? -- Rick Block (talk) 02:58, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
I'd say that any sporting record which is historically significant--regardless of whether its been broken since--is eligible for inclusion. --CalendarWatcher (talk) 03:37, 28 May 2008 (UTC)
this page says that on this day, april 8, the civil rights act of 1960 passed ([1]) -- yet on that page, there's no mention of april 8. can someone confirm and fix one of those two pages. thanks.--Pnoeric (talk) 20:29, 8 April 2009 (UTC)
The Charles W. Woodworth page indicates his date of birth is April 28. Not sure of his actual date of birth. — Preceding unsigned comment added by ChancellorBen (talk • contribs) 13:47, 8 April 2013 (UTC)
How can we bring up April 8 and not mention that it's also Rex Manning Day? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 206.255.12.27 (talk) 18:21, 27 November 2013 (UTC)
Who the HELL is Rex Manning?

I vote to remove it. In my opinion, nobody outside a tiny US community has even heard of it.Annasdottir (talk) 12:03, 21 June 2017 (UTC)
The entry for John Foxe's death (1587) is incorrect. It's April 18 (and already on the April 18 date page).
It's amazing that absolutely no one of even moderate importance died on April 8 in the years 2016, 17, 18, 19 or 20. 5 year streak? Or laziness/no one really gives a fuck about editing this day anymore?
Add it. Do it. It will be epic. 184.147.47.69 (talk) 01:53, 31 December 2023 (UTC)
