As a pagemover: WP:CONSISTENCY does not trump all the other policies/guidelines. Because the first documented case in MH is from 2020, and not from 2019; it will be sort of a misleading title. No point in keeping an informal RM discussion open, where a handful editors were pinged. Kindly see WP:CANVASSING. This has been taking place a lot on COVID India articles. I request opinions on renaming the page from 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Maharashtra to "2019-20 coronavirus pandemic in Maharashtra". Reasons: 1. Consistent with other articles under Wikiproject COVID-19, 2. Hard to navigate to under the current title and 3. technically incorrect since the pandemic began in 2019 and is still active. Dishita Bhowmik, you could actually suggest this renaming over at Talk:2020 coronavirus pandemic in India. Try suggesting changing all of the Indian COVID19 pages titles. Covid-19 arrived at month of February in India so why anyi want to include 2019 in the title. India or Maharashtra was affected by Covid-19 till Feb. Delete the photo from infobox.[edit]

All countries in the world and different states of India have wikipedia articles about Covid-19 but no other these articles have pictures, photos in their infobox. So I suggest to delete that photo. Transport sub section is little confusing and not easy to read and understand beacuse , Transport section have ST transport, Railways mixed together that's why it not pleasing to read. So I suggest if we write Different sub sections in Transport section like - Road Transport or Truck  , Domestic flights, International flights, Waterways. It will make this article dynamic. It is still there, under heading: "Proposed merge of 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Pune into 2020 coronavirus pandemic in Maharashtra". The discussion was also linked in this edit summary, that edit was reverted by you here. I undid your edit, and in that edit summary I said: Nothing appropriate to merge. If one wants to copy relevant content then kindly do. I say it again: if you believe there is something to be copied/merged, then kindly do it. @The Discoverer: yes. But there is nothing appropriate for merging. Whatever there is in the Pune article, it's already present in the MH article. The implementation of lockdown, and easing of it, were statewide decisions. Regarding the stats, it would not be logical to include a city's detailed stats in state's article, as the same stats and sources can be found for Mumbai, Nagpur, and Aurangabad as well. But if you want to include anything, please feel free. The only thing I can think of is to include/create a graph of stats including these four cities, like there is a currently chart "Semilog plot of the spread of SARS-CoV-2 and of COVID-19 recoveries & deaths in Maharashtra". But this chart would make the article more cumbersome, and it will be very complicated to maintain as well. Even the current charts/stats are being updated like twice a week. Government website update[edit]

Currently, the wikipedia article for CoV-19 pandemic in MH lists two websites as the source of data. One of these websites is a Maharashtra government website (arogya.maharashtra.gov.in), and the other is an ArcGIS (a geographical information system) which (I am guessing) appears to be updated by someone from the government on a periodic basis. For the last several days, the updates to this website have been sketchy. However, there is another government website, which also maps the information by district. In addition, it also provides the case count variation by time. The colour coded dashboard can be found here : https://www.covid19maharashtragov.in/mh-covid/dashboard. Can someone who is editing the wikipedia page, please add this link box on the top right hand corner of the page ?
