In 1 Dollar-a-year men, last sentence: "Most recently, President Donald Trump has said he will take a one dollar salary."
The reference was last retrieved on January 4, 2013. which predates his Presidency. I suggest it be revised to say "Most recently, then Presidential Candidate Donald Trump had said he will take a one dollar salary." TCav (talk) 00:30, 15 March 2017 (UTC)
Some details with citations recently added indicate that "business" and "conservative" were not the only interested contributions. We should add more from other political beliefs. Remember the most famous phrase from the 1961 inaugural address of semi-Progressive Democrat [[John F. Kennedy)): "Ask not what your country can do for you: ask what you can do for your country."--Aboudaqn (talk) 22:16, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
Perhaps this entry needs division into political vs. business "donations"? After all, one-dollar-a-year for seven U.S. presidents by Eugene Meyer (financier) is a very different kind of contribution to, say, a one-dollar-a-year salary that Lee Iacocca took for running Chrysler, yes?--Aboudaqn (talk) 22:16, 18 March 2018 (UTC)
What material should be located in the display on the top-right section of the page?
Right now we have a "gallery" of various people. It's not clear why that content should be there; I may move all the pictures to the article body. I've reverted an addition of Donald Trump to the gallery; donating his salary to charity [1] is not sufficient to justify putting a large Trump picture on this article. power~enwiki (π, ν) 00:23, 28 June 2018 (UTC)
