![]() | On 30 March 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved from Basilica of the Twenty-Six Holy Martyrs of Japan (Nagasaki) to Oura Church. The result of the discussion was moved. |
As these two articles are about the same building, there is no reason to keep both. I suggest merging Ōura Cathedral into this article. Please indicate your opinion below, along with any reasoning behind it. Thanks!
The result of the move request was: moved. Moved, as an uncontested technical request. Any objection within a reasonable time frame should see the move reverted. (closed by non-admin page mover) BilledMammal (talk) 04:16, 7 April 2024 (UTC)
Basilica of the Twenty-Six Holy Martyrs of Japan (Nagasaki) → Oura Church – This is the common name for the building, and is reflected in almost all websites and information brochures such as here, here, here and here. Even Catholic-affiliated websites acknowledge Oura Church as an alternate name for the building, such as here. It would also better adhere to WP:CONCISE. User:WoodElf 04:39, 30 March 2024 (UTC)
