Colin formed on land which performed a brown ocean effect which isnt common. There is even less notable storms such as Tropical Storm Danny (2021) article, it only did 5k damages with 0 deaths, yet it still has a article. Colin actually did samiler damages and actually killed 1-2 people. I think the article should be kept Rainbow Galaxy POC (talk) 00:27, 2 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I’m leaning more to delete now since NHC directly said, “there were no reports of damage associated with Colin.” No reason to keep the article since it was not notable and was practically a fish storm with one indirect fatality. Elijahandskip (talk) 19:41, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I would support Redirecting it because the impacts and meteorological history can fit into the main article, 2022 Atlantic hurricane season. I don't see a lot of sources outside of the NHC and NWS, although the sources provided do not have significant coverage of Colin. Sarrail(talk)19:56, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Keep - this is a Danielle situation. The guidelines are followed. Minimal is not none. One person also died, and it is a storm that affected the inland United States. If it wasn’t notable, it wouldn’t have been accepted. Hurricane Su (talk) 21:00, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
We accept NHC’s wording and based on the 16 page Tropical Cyclone Report on TS Colin, they said “ there were no reports of damage associated with Colin.” Per previous discussions, the infobox contains details from NOAA or the official sources, so the official statement is that Colin caused no damage, so the infobox needs to reflect that. I too would support Redirection to the season article. The meteorological history is brief, and most of the preparation and impact material is there already. Drdpw (talk) 21:07, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
I might be neutral with this. Seeing most people wanting to delete it, and with colin doing no damages makes me think that it will be redirected/deleted. but meanwhile colin may have some notable stuff, with the main reason being a brown ocean effect. it isnt that common, and colin performed that effect. it caused 1 death which dont mean nothing. it also attacked the US mainland. so im more closer to the Keep side Rainbow Galaxy POC (talk) 21:22, 18 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
