Hi there, thanks so much for adding to the article! I used to live near the park, and would walk by there almost everyday, which is why I wrote the article for the park. I was surprised such a large public space, in the middle of America's biggest city, didn't have an article. I hope you don't mind me reaching out, but seeing as you're a capable enough editor to include reference, I'd love to pick your brain on how to expand the article. Comparing the article to Central Park, sections are missing for "Landscape features" (geology, wooded areas and lawns, watercourses), "Wildlife", "Landmarks and structures", "Activities", "Transportation", "Issues", and "Impact". A lot of those wouldn't be applicable for HVK, but some would, like that it's a block from the G train (and near buses), maybe even sections for "Landmarks and structures and "Activities". The tricky aspect is getting reliable sources, such as the dog park, and lawns. I know there's also a weekly foodshare program by Foodnotbombs, and I have a source as of 2018, but I wouldn't want to add a reference for regular activities unless it was after 2021, given how much 2020 changed things.
Anyway, be well, and thanks again for the edit. ♫ Hurricanehink (talk) 22:06, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
